Had this weird dream where I starred in a cheesy sitcom, laugh track and all. The scene was in a barber shop, and the lead joke was that I got a bad haircut and asked for a return. The joke was simply: Barber: How does that look? Me: Eh, can I have it back please?

So in this dream I'm yelling at the producer that the joke is dumb, and that I won't tell it under any circumstances. The producer keeps telling me, "No it's hilarious. Ya see, you get your hair cut, and then want it back! That's insane and impossible! Hilarious!".

Perhaps I shouldn't drink before taking ambien.

Very fine line with reality and dreaming with me. I might be the only person I know who can "taste" food while dreaming.

But is that joke from a sitcom or something? Sometimes when I leave the TV on, certain scenarios kind of play out in my dreams. A google search of "haircut jokes sitcom" hasn't been of any help (at least with the dream thingy).

I dream in color and will remember colors of specific prominent items from them. I also often know what direction I'm facing in dreams. I will remember that I was standing on the north side of a green house with white window frames looking up at the mottled gray roof and such.

This is something I've experienced a few times. The weird thing is that it usually happens with people that I know really well, like family.

When I dream, I pick up lots of little details and tangential information on a lot of the things that happen. For example, I recently had a dream in which I got to study on the moon for exactly 5 days. I knew by default in the dream that this was because more days than that would be too expensive, we would run out of supplies, I needed to get back to earth in time to keep up with my other classes, the spaceship would get too hot if we stayed away from earth too long, all kinds of weird things. This dream was particularly interesting because once we reached the moon the interior of the spaceship was filled with some strange color, and I distinctly remember thinking "What a strange color, I've never seen it before. It doesn't exist on earth."
