Hello racketboy forums. Wanting to see a PS2 gaming forums lately and this caught my attention because of the retro gaming tag it has. Nice to see some die-hard fans(if not just fans) of the dreamcast as well. Hoping to be an active member here

Hi guys, I'm Seth from the midwestern US. I'm 29 and married, no kids, just an apartment full of books and games.

I play games from all generations, mostly on the PSP since it's convenient, but I have a handful of real consoles ranging from NES to PS3.

I like to read a lot, watch a bit of television, and listen to so many podcasts that I'll never be able to keep up with them when I finally find a job that doesn't require a one-hour commute.

Hello everyone, Im Dave. Im from St Helens, North West England, UK. Ive just turned 30, not married but getting there, no children yet. Been playing games pretty much since i could reach the buttons on an arcade machine (kung fu master was the first one i can remember playing). Have had many consoles over the years, but my Dreamcast kept me hooked, even to the point of me getting another one years later.

My favourite genres are shmups and fighters, although i SUCK at shooters, but theyre just so much fun. Dont mind any game type really.
All time favourite game has to be Turrican ( and Turrican 2 ) on the Amiga.
Next favourite game is probably Castlevania SOTN for PS1.

Others are Deus Ex (PC), Thundercross 1+2 (arcade), Tekken (all), Soul Edge/Calibur (all), Gradius 3 (arcade + SNES) and of course, King of Fighters (all). These are the ones that stand out in my mind.

First system was a ZX Spectrum 48k with the rubber keys ( load "" ). Fav system tough call between Amiga and Dreamcast, though Amiga may *just* win.

I play a lot on PC also. FPS games i like most, but still keep going back to emulators and my DC and PS2.
Cant think of anything witty or funny, so Ill just stick to playing games :)

Hi guys I'm giannis from Greece. Been gaming since the age of 6 in arcades and my first console was the sega mega drive 2 with sonic and knuckles. I've recently grown tired of gaming since the consoles seam to keep getting boring action games or mini game collection and pc games just take too much time these days. So I started collecting old consoles and retro games that are simple fun and more original in my mind than today's brown and black enviroment games

Hey y'all! I'm very happy to have found these forums. I've been enjoying retro-Sega games since well before they were retro :) Right now, I've been addicted to the Master System, Saturn, and Xbox Live Arcade.
