We agree on something!

Heck I even like "Fly". BB may be the most consistent show I've ever watched. That alone is an amazing achievement. There's never really a dull moment for me, and I can't even say that about great shows like Game of Thrones or The Wire.

Jesse's current arc kind of fascinates me. He's becoming a real criminal mastermind. Walt likes to think of himself as "the man", but Jesse has so far proved to be the most important part of their little group this season. He's the idea man. Yet, in a certain sense he is the weakest link in the chain, because he really doesn't seem to have the stomach for killing people and that's an inevitable part of this criminal life. Mike is at peace with that. Walt just doesn't seem to care, but Jesse can't handle it. I can see Jesse wanting out, but I feel like the group would really lose an important element if he left.

I love the genuine respect Walt has for Jesse now. Sure, Jesse is naive and being manipulated and used by Walt, but I think Walt is genuinely impressed by how smart Jesse is now when it comes to actually getting things done. Contrast that to early seasons where Walt was always berating Jesse for his screw ups and for being an idiot.

And why does the kid dying make it less terrific? Those sorts of dark spins are exactly the type of shocking twists that have defined this show and made it so unpredictable.
Don't you know that kids aren't supposed to die, ever?

God, I love that Landry is in Breaking Bad now.
You know what sucks about that guy being in BB? I started watching Friday Night Lights recently. Ever since this dude joined BB, EVERYONE started talking about his role in Friday Night Lights. Those people have actually spoiled parts of that show for me now. I'm a little upset about that, because I'm digging Friday Night Lights and it sucks to get something spoiled for a show you're enjoying

Spoilers are damn near impossible to avoid now and days though. It seems like it's impossible for the internet crowd to talk about a show without having to compare it to another show. So inevitably you get spoiled on stuff you haven't seen yet. Plus, people tend to not be considerate about spoilers. It's just blurt out some major thing that happened on a show, then say, "oops, spoilers" and laugh if off. Followed by the silly cliche, "oh that show went off the air such and such time ago, so I don't have to care about spoiling it for people"

Sorry, little rant there

I love how Jesse comes up with all these bright ideas all of a sudden. Who was that industry drugs woman talking to on the phone? was that with mike? It sounded like Mike´s voice, but I am not 100% sure.....
Isn't this supposed to be the final season?

Btw yes she was talking to Mike.

I'll admit to thinking little about spoiling shows, I probably should consider it more.

Generally I do not care about spoilers, because I don't think that a description of the actual content of a work is the most important part of fiction. I don't care too much about being surprised by TV or books, I care about presentation, acting, how the story is stringed together and so on - not exactly what happens, but how and why it happens. To me, the most important part is the interpretations people like you or Jreece give to this show, for instance.

I do see that most people put great value on these kinds of things, though. Even though I don't think they should, I will try to restrain myself if I talk too much about some plot point or character in another series.

Now, I like Friday Night Lights A LOT. It even made me like and follow football (I'm a South American, remember). Don't mind what people say and see for yourself.

I care about all that stuff too, but I like being surprised. Trying to throw the audience for a loop in a logical way, yet still making it surprising is a difficult task. As a writer, I would hate to have any part of a story be spoiled for someone. Obviously there is something to be said for having good content that is rewatchable even after someone has seen it, but there is nothing like that first time where something happens that you're just not ready for (half measure. . . Crawlspace).

I was talking to someone about BB the other day, and they said they watched one or two of the early episodes, and then went and 'tried' to watch the current season (not sure if they were talking recently or if this was a while ago) to which I said, no way don't do that. You'll be lost and so many things will be spoiled. . . To which she said "yeah but I don't want to have to go back and watch all those episodes". To me that's like saying, "meh, I don't really want to watch a whole two hours of the sixth sense, I'm just going to watch the last 10 minutes." and this person wants to be a tv writer. . . .

I liked all of the BB episodes except for maybe "The Fly" one. I thought this one was one of the better ones. It's crazy how the writers come up with the idea of siphoning the chemical from the train and replacing it with water. Wow, who would come up with that kind of idea?

I thought the opening was kind of cool. I was trying to figure out how the boy/spider would tie in with the show and it was at the end when the connection was revealed. Neat technique.

Reminds me of that thing from Tuco that was thrown in the river and found by Hank at the end of the episode.

I have to say, I like the new players. Lydia, and that new guy who shot the kid at the end. I like what they bring to the story. I've seen a lot of online hate for Lydia. I like her. For god's sake, it's nice to finally have a women being in the group finally. I don't count Skylar, as she's been mostly on the periphery of Walt's criminal life. I enjoy the way Lydia gets under Mike's skin as well. Mike is entertaining when people are annoying him. I love when he regrets not killing her the first time because she was a woman by saying, "That's what I get for being sexist."

The train heist is really Walt and Jesse at their most badass I must say

What will walt's plan be? I'm anxious to see. . . Only two episodes left in this half, we know there's a game changer coming. . .

I see I was right about Jesse. That scene was a long time coming. And it was fantastic.

On top of that we got some dialogue straight from walt as to why he's keeping at it. Not only did he bring up grey matter, but that he's pretty much lost skyler and any hope of a normal family life, and that is factoring in to his stubborness.

Theories: Walter White is probably going to invest his money, maybe call it dark/white matter. or buy off grey matter somehow.
