I know that the one and only game store around here has always gone by ebay prices but they used to at least subtract a few dollars, it seems like now they have the exact same prices as ebay. Who told them that would be ok? haha

That's still better than those stores which charge more than ebay.harper wrote:I know that the one and only game store around here has always gone by ebay prices but they used to at least subtract a few dollars, it seems like now they have the exact same prices as ebay. I don't care what anyone says, Lifetime movies are awesome.

I'm a HUGE Lifetime Movie Channel supporter. If you missed "UNTOUCHABLE" last weekend starring Rob Lowe, you missed out big time.harper wrote:I don't care what anyone says, Lifetime movies are awesome.
Re: Random Thoughts Thread
Totally going to just ramble on here and well hey, put this thread to use...
But I'm kind of back to wondering if school is even worth it or not. I dunno. At the least I want to continue and get my associates, in what? I don't even know that either. Possibly electronics or IT. I keep thinking IT, but I still haven't even touched that department honestly. But I wonder if that's the path I should go... get the associates, then from there I can just get certifications and work my way up that way. Get my foot in the door, etc.
I just got this new job though of course, and don't plan on jumping ship for awhile. Not at all. But, lately it's just funny to me how half the staff I work with are people with degrees. Granted, I know they get paid more than me and they can probably move up faster, but still... it's the same job. You know? I also heard awhile back I get paid more at this job than what one of my younger uncle makes kind of doing the same thing elsewhere, and he's got a four year degree himself. It all seems to be luck and cards.
I don't want to sound greedy. And a degree certainly can't hurt at all I'm sure. Everyone who has one just keeps telling me, half the time it hardly even matters what it's in, it just means "more money" in many cases. But do I want to spend all that time and effort in more school, just to land at some place and "settle"? That's why I keep thinking IT or computer based stuff... and it might be interesting since it's a field that's probably constantly evolving.
Plus with the way the economy and job market is now and for the foreseeable future, it just seems like a gamble to me if I really wanted to go back.
I don't know. It's no rush, I know that (believe me, I crashed on that out of high school years ago from all the pressure from friends and family, doesn't bother me now though). But just on my mind again I guess, I want to find something out there... some kind of purpose... "reason", etc. I feel like I've obtained some "purpose" again ever since I got this job and I'm loving it, but I just still feel like there's a big missing piece to the puzzle here.
Maybe it's just a case of the Monday's.
I can imagine moving out will be a great change in my life. People say all kinds of different things about that, but I'm 24 and I think I'm more than damn ready for it eventually later this year, and I think taking on all that extra responsibility and whatnot will be good for me. I need that independence. Time to grow up, a little.

This isn't any useful help for ya Xenograd, but its better to be reading about your possible options and laying them out than reading about you struggling.

(Xenograd?
)
Thanks, haha. Yeah, I really can't complain one bit! Life is great right now, mentally I'm amazing, just one of those weird days I guess. But seriously yeah... 2012 is off to a great start and I'm sure it'll be a good one.
