Japan's law system is fucked up so it saddens me to not be surprised by this.

That it's one of the most xenophobical countries in the planet doesn't help either, I decided long ago that I was not going there.

We do have several members who either currently live in or have lived in Japan who weren't born there. I'd like to hear their views on that personally.

That sort of thing isn't unheard of, but i get the feeling it's a minority of people who experience that kind of treatment. Not that it's okay either way of course...

All the biggest weeaboos I've ever met have never been to Japan. They seem to think it's like Disneyland or something, when it's just another country with it's own set of problems like any other.

According to Rolling Stone Magazine, Bob Dylan's Like a Rolling Stone is the best song of all time. What the heck? I just listened to it, and it's borderline mediocre. Nothing I'd want to hear twice. Did they name it #1 just because of the title?
