Bloody hell, and to think I actually wanted to live there. This puts a dampener on that idea.

That it's one of the most xenophobical countries in the planet doesn't help either, I decided long ago that I was not going there.

Good thing this isn't a big anime forum, or we'd have the Japan defense force jumping down our throats.

We do have several members who either currently live in or have lived in Japan who weren't born there. I'd like to hear their views on that personally.

That sort of thing isn't unheard of, but i get the feeling it's a minority of people who experience that kind of treatment. Not that it's okay either way of course...

I wonder how weeaboos feel when they visit Japan only to find out they aren't going to be treated like the Kings of Anime.

Likewise. I know a few people that have visited Japan and I've never heard of anything like this.

Also, it's not like shit like this doesn't go down everywhere.

All the biggest weeaboos I've ever met have never been to Japan. They seem to think it's like Disneyland or something, when it's just another country with it's own set of problems like any other.

Every time I listen to this song:

Studio Killers - Ode To The Bouncer

I hear this:

Love both the clip and song though... ^^

According to Rolling Stone Magazine, Bob Dylan's Like a Rolling Stone is the best song of all time. What the heck? I just listened to it, and it's borderline mediocre. Nothing I'd want to hear twice. Did they name it #1 just because of the title?
