Ugh, it has just been reported that Adam Copeland IS injured. The severity is not yet known.

Hopefully it's nothing too serious, but that landing looked rough. I winced watching and seeing him basically land upright on his feet I thought he was going to snap his ankle or butcher his knees. Tbh as soon as I saw him climbing up, I was struggling to watch.

Fair play to him for being able to finish the match and still put on an incredible performance.

But I still don't know what he was going for unless he just lost his balance and didn't jump the way he intended.

I was just expecting a cross body or splash type move, but it's like he went for an elbow drop. I was really nervous when he started climbing the cage. I would have been less nervous if it was someone like Darby or Sammy Guevarra, but Edge is an older guy. Plus, he's not known for being a big risk taker, at least not at this stage of his career. It's like he had a flashback to the TLC match days when him and Christian were doing crazy things with the Dudley and the Hardies. The spot still looked pretty cool though and he did an amazing job gutting it out and finishing the match. I kind of thought the blood thing from Dynamite was a bit silly, but I like that Malakai remembered it and looked up when the lights went out

I just realized how amazing a Kairi elbow drop off of a cage would look, but she'd be putting herself at risk of serious injury too. Something about AEW brings out the daredevil in everyone, even the older guys. I used the term "older" relatively speaking of course. Edge isn't really that old at all

To be fair, I would accept those comments if it was about that time Cody set himself on fire. It looked ridiculous. That was back when Cody was desperately trying to get over with the AEW fans who had turned on him in order to preserve his fragile ego.

This was cool though:

I love how this shit stain from pwtorch complains about WWE accepting blood money and not supporting human rights, but in the same article points out how he opted not to give AEW any money and watch Double or Nothing, but he happily keeps giving money to Peacock in order to watch WWE PLEs:

Nothing wrong with giving money to a company that is in league with WWE and its lack of morals apparently. The online anti-AEW campaign continues...

I don't think I was watching much AEW when that happened. Or I missed a few episodes of Dynamite or something (I assume it wasn't on PPV, because I am sure I have seen them all). I will have to look it up haha.

The times Kane got set on fire were so lame though. Even 10 or 11 year old me was disappointed with how rubbish it was. It actually looked cool on Sunday when Jack was put on fire.

Lol yeah. Some of these writers don't even pretend to be impartial now.

He does mention something I picked up on that I meant to say at the weekend. It was quite funny that a day or two after WWE announced the King and Queen of the Ring winners would get title shots at Summerslam, AEW then announced the winners of the Owen Hart cup will get title shots at All In this year. I am sure it's probably a coincidence though.

I like the idea from AEW at least though. It adds something to the Owen Hart tournament and makes it more interesting. I am sure though as soon as they announce who is in the tournament we are going to be able to predict the winners before a single match even takes place. That's the problem with AEW, they make it too damn predictable most of the time. It was obviously going to be Ricky Starks last year who won the men's and I was 80 or 90% sure Willow was winning the women's category. You could basically predict how each bracket was going to progress.

PWInsider reports there is was rumour going around WWE talent last night on Raw that Adam Copeland broke his leg, but in AEW they are just hearing that there is concern he had instead suffered some kind of knee injury, but it isn't broken. There's been any word on an official diagnosis.

Edit: Surely if it was that bad though, Adam would have called an audible and told Malakai to change the finish? I suppose sometimes the adrenaline kicks in and they don't know how bad it is until they try to walk out and are then checked out.

Edit again: Forget the above, Adam has just posted a video and confirmed he has broken his leg and requires surgery. Well that sucks.

The Cody thing had a bunch of issues. One was that you could see all of this..."stuff" all over his body. I think it was some kind of flame retardant substance, but I remember when I watched the show you could see it EVERYWHERE on him. So it's like you already knew what he was planning. Also, it looked like he didn't even catch on fire at all when he did the spot. Also, he put Andrade through a flaming table, but it was mostly Cody who went through the table, not Andrade. The doofus basically put himself through a flaming table. Also, there was nothing in this match or feud to justify Cody trying something so extreme. It just came out of nowhere. It's like he was desperately just trying to do something that would make AEW fans think he was cool. Also, Brandi lit the table on fire and any time he involves Brandi in anything it just makes him look lame. I remember one of the problems with Cody in AEW was that she got involved WAY too many times in his matches, especially for a guy who wanted us to view him as a "face". There are a number of issues with this that I don't think I even need to bring up
