I think it's going to be a 50/50 situation. If you want to buy online, the douchewave will be full on in effect negating Amazon unless you're really lucky. Locally though, especially stores that don't allow a buy online to hold in store, you could find one. Call around, or be there, ask, get one to be held until you drive down. If Nintendo isn't for once blowing smoke like with their fake being mystified by amiibo and Wii shortages they should exist in good numbers. But where no effort has to be made other than a click fury with a stupid purchasing bot like with amazon, etc it's probably going to vanish.

Trying to find it in stores has been just as futile because retail stores only got a few which went as soon as they hit the shelves and most mom and pop stores were sent literally ONE unit.

It comes down to luck and where you live at this point if you must have one right now.

Just received the Famicom Classic Mini. Those controllers are beyond tiny. At least there's two of 'em though.

Oh I know, nothing around here from about an hour after the stores opened and some hit craigslist, others ebay. It's just that I'm thinking between now and Dec 24th (close) youll likely have better odds being out and about finding one than dealing with internet trolls.

Curious, I see they're small, would you say they're like about the size of a Gameboy Micro?

From what I've seen they're definitely smaller than a Micro which is insane.

I've just now tried them out. Very "unique" feel due to that tiny size.

You're basically using only a portion of your hand. Almost just the tips of your fingers and thumb.

I'm really not sure how an extended game-play session would feel with these.

So those third party Advantages, do not work on the NES classic. So either they built them wrong and the Advantage stick is mapped to the Joystick of the CC, or the NES classic has a check on the controller.

I mentioned that a while back. From what I understand the Wii Classic Controller Advantage was repackaged as a NES Classic controller; 3rd party EMiO did not Q/A their product thoroughly for the NES Classic. I suspect an issue of the stick emulating the analog stick instead of the Gamepad?

For anyone who owns both the NES Classic and 3rd Party Capcom Tatsunoko Arcade Stick; can you check if the stick works when set to each of the three modes off its slide switch? Be sure to power off on after each selection of the Arcade Stick. Probably would work when the stick is set to DPad mode?

No hurry myself to get the NES Classic, since I already have the original Toaster NES as well as NES Emulation on the Dreamcast and PC <and NES Unlocks on Gamecube Animal Crossing>. I would like to have bought two of the NES Classic gamepads for my Wii.

Now that I think about it, the two 3rd party EMiO controllers (Auto Fire Gamepad and Advantage Stick) might go clearance since they are not compatible with the mini console after all! Waiting for some to be returned as "defective" back to the stores, might buy one of each for my Wii.

I should check to see if that works. I would love that combo.
