are polls closed? If so it looks like the winners are KOTOR for RPG, a tie between Alone In The Dark and Fatal Frame and the option of a fighting game instead of Harvest Moon.

I believe they are still open for today. Tomorrow morning is when I plan to go over results.

As an idea for next year, I think we should come up with a list o suggestions for different genres (plus wild cards) and then just put them all up for people to vote for their favourite 12. Comparing stuff like Harvest Moon and a fighting game seems silly as they're not comparable, unlike the other polls we conducted. What if people would like to play both?

By coming up with a list of 20 or so games from different genres and making people choose 12 we could get a list of the 12 most popular suggestions straight up, and there's no weird 'beat 'em up vs strategy game for the last place' situations.

Of the fighting games talked about I liked the ideas of Guilty Gear, Street Fighter II or III, or Virtua Fighter 2.

This is still the best horror pick. Alone in the Dark is clunky and slow, and as far as Fatal Frame goes I'm not crazy about featuring such a "recently" released game in TR.

Remember - in addition to the horror theme GnG is also a platforming pioneer, released just days after SMB.

If it's already been decided that it's between Alone in the Dark and Fatal Frame though, I'd rather play FF.
