I haven't beaten it either. I think the trick is effectively managing your items. Comix zone is considerably more strategic than most beat 'em ups. Walk right, beat up everyone on screen.

It definitely is. I always hated how hitting barrels/destructible walls did damage to yourself. I think your health resets at level 3 or 4 though, but then there's that crazy arena that's like a boss rush. Crazy game, but awesome of course!

Now you guys are making me wish that game would get here even sooner(along with the others), hate how there has to be a hefty price to most other games maybe this will be worth it(now to seek out the sonic titles for it(and probably stick to titles for gen/md since I don't want to have to get another console  (though a dreamcast down the line might be in order since I couldn't help myself awhile back when I saw the ones I now own and have sitting on my shelf  ). Might be time to revisit that flea market because I swear last time I saw some gen games there :|

It's a bad time of year for flea markets, dude. Look on CL, and your local trade journal for folks selling old video games for xmas cash.

I don't know drove past it on the way to my sister's recital and it was open for some odd reason(of course I could've just been sleep deprived when I saw that so there's that maybe  )

Comix Zone is not for RPG fans; it's for people who enjoy good video games.

Damn, Sparx. If you're going to "fix" my post, at least give me proper syntax.

Anyway, Comix Zone is awesome. Listen to this:

My Games Beaten list this year is about 30% RPGs.

But Comix Zone. Ugh. One of those games were the designers put more focus into being quirky and weird and edgy and forgot that the game should be "good."

On the topic of good Sega games though, I have been enjoying Space Harrier. Also been playing ESWAT and the Shinobi games. Awesome but hard as hell.
