Is there a way to SEARCH just one section of the Forum? I remember reading tips on searches but I searched and can't find it now.

Maybe a sticky of all the various SEARCH tricks?

the site search function allows you to search by subforum (search.php)

I wanted to post a pic on the dump thread. But it looks like after two years here I finally filled my quota of uploads!

When I tried to upload a pic, a red warning sign showed up and it said something about attachements full.

So I went back to the control panel and started erasing old thread pics that I uploaded.

But There are still some pics that may (?) be of value to some one here. So Should I delete them? Which threads are still viable after so long? Which ones have faded into obscurity?

We Should be told how much upload space we have!

I have lots of finds of the day? But are they useful now? Do you guys care if I erase finds from more than year ago? Does anyone go back that far to look at them?

I finally figured out how to use an image hosting service, so I may just go that route instead of using racketboy's server files/memory. Maybe this wouldn't have been a problem if I knew from the first place how to do this.

I would be too lazy to move and move some more pics and edit old ass threads.

I hope that after all this time, I have contributed something benefitial to RB.

ok then, time to sleep.

I've been kicking around the idea of a beat-em-up/run n' gun type deal like Shmup of the Month and TR. Possibly do like a bi-monthly thing since these games don't take overtly long to beat, but to also try to get some active participation and discussion going on them; just for fun.

I.E. - June - Knights of the Round/Metal Slug

If anyone else would be interested, I'll try to come up with some sort of system to choose what we play and when; most likely just majority votes on some random choices on a list, or perhaps by dev: June - SNK, July - Konami, and such.

Just spitballing. Just curious about interest on this.

I've upped the attachment limits.
Lemme know if you still have issues.

@Fox, you know i'm game for that.

It might be a neat idea to have teams, like shmups forums does for their competition. Teams of 4, best 3 scores tallied for your teams monthly score, etc.

There are a number ways to run a run 'n gun thread, hi-score on 1C, lowest number of credits to beat the entire game, etc...

Maybe run it for 4-6 months or something and then a few months off, so there is a feel of competition and completion to it.

I suggest starting a thread about interest in the "Other Genres" sub-forum.

I too ran out of room, was deleting pics to make room for new stuff. Sometimes a bear trying to sort out what to delete and what to keep such as reference pics in various guides. I would hate to have a Guide lose pics because a Photo Sharing Site might take it away years later. I understand that there has to be a limit and appreciate the upped max pictures for flexibility. I'm curious about a couple of things concerning the attachment limit.

1. What is the maximum allowed attachments?

2. Is it a total amount of attachments or total memory storage size per member?

I never hit my limit... I guess I'm even farther from it now, though.
