Especially bash all night long on Death Metal. I can't freakin' stand the stuff.

My best friend is in a Death Metal band. I went to ONE show to 'support' my friend. And I'm sorry I couldn't even stay. His guitarist is sick shit I will have to say, and I've heard him play some great stuff... when not in concert. My best friend is a great singer, years of training and a great set of lungs on him... I love his voice... when not in concert!

You put the two of these extremely talented people on stage and what did I get in return? My friend screamin incoherently into a microphone while his guitarist played distorted riffs that sounded mostly like really well constructed melodies being belted out of a tin can. The singing to me sounds like a, "who can scream louder contest". It was an electric headache.

Pile on the kids in the scene and I wanted to rage. These kids were the rudest bunch of hooting dickheads I was about to slice their testicles off... if it weren't for the fact they fight like cochroaches.

I'm sorry, once you throw a swing and then back up and have your 20 friends jump on the ONE guy... that's not a fight and you are a PUSSY! Especially if you started it. That's exactly what happened to my buddy. My buddy was just dancing, NOT IN THE PIT, and the pit decided to move over to his area. He moved, they follow, he moved, they follow, kid knocks him over, he says something like "excuse me, but I'm trying to fucking dance, stop following me"

all hell breaks loose

he gets pumbled by 15 kids. FIFTEEN KIDS for one 25 year old guy? All because you wanted to keep moving your mosh pit into his area of dance. Come on, the guy was respecting your rage dance and stayed out of your fucking way... fuck you!





Now of course anyone who listened to my music would probably vomit on themselves. Cause you know what, it's BAD! I like BAD music. I listen to music for a far different reason. So bash away on it all you want.

Oh wait no, I just listen to music that isn't the a-typical "guitar, bass, drum, singer" combo. BORING! You know there are thousands of other instruments right!? START USING THEM!

I will force my opinion on the conversation and note that the only kind of metal I like so far is progressive metal, or rather, just Dream Theater.
