Glad to have you aboard!
And yes, even though I've played it a number of times before, I'm still having a blast this time around.

Someone mail me a DC boot disc.... :'(
Re: Next For Next Together Retro: Jet Grind Radio
I love this game too. I broke it out last summer, but to my dismay I couldn't figure out how to start a new game without overwriting my last play through.
Is purchasing another VMU the only way to get around this or is it possible to somehow have two saves on the same VMU?

Re: Next For Next Together Retro: Jet Grind Radio
I picked this up today to play something on my Dreamcast, and made it my mission to complete that darn tutorial. Not only was I able to learn how to do the twist, I also could clear the last part (50 tricks in a row). I did 59!
That tutorial is really hard!
I will try to finish the story this time (not today though).

I went aggressive skating (grind and all today). Actually I started this because of JSR.
Are there other aggressive/freeride bladers here?

I have a question about that game: Can you redo the levels to collect the tags you missed? If you can redo the levels, is it only once (like a New Game Plus) or you can redo them at free will?
Re: Next For Next Together Retro: Jet Grind Radio
There is a mode where you actually go around each area with interconnected segments, I think. E.g. in Shibuya, you had several "missions" each with small areas, and if you revisit outside of a "story mission" you will be able to skate around the whole of it.Iah wrote:I have a question about that game: Can you redo the levels to collect the tags you missed? At least that's how it seemed to me when I did it, because e.g. from the Bus station of the tutorial and such I could go to another section, whereas if I went in that direction during the "mission" I would have exited the area entirely (cancel, go to menu etc.).
If anyone else wants to state that more clearly and/or confirm it...
