I actually remember a few SNES versions of games having loading screens that the Mega Drive versions did not, such as Mickey Mania and Batman Forever (see latest Angry Video game Nerd. "Hold on"). A pretty minor point, but just thought I'd point that out.

Chief, I'm much more a Nintendo fan in that generation, and I KNOW many of the Genesis ports were better than the SNES's.

Name me some titles would you please? I can think of one, Aladin, and that had modestly better colour. Thats it. I am being serious, I played a lot of genesis growing up and a lot of SNES, I cant remember 1 title on Genesis that impressed me over SNES except Aladdin and Mortal Kombat ONLY because it allowed blood.

The Genesis version of Captain America and The Avengers is vastly superior to the SNES one:

GEN- smooth and responsive controls, fast action, fun!

SNES- practically broken controls, difficult to tell if you're on the same plane as enemies, choppy action, frustrating!

Somebody brought up Street fighter a minute ago, and I'd like it to be known that Street fighter is much better on the Super Nintendo than it is on Genesis. I never noticed any extra frames on Genesis, but I can easily see and hear the difference between the Genesis and Super Nintendo in terms of graphics and sound. The only true advantage the Genesis has for Street Fighter is its six button controller.

Wow.

These guys, kids though they may be, are seriously smart. They realize that making bogus lists like this is a key to getting traffic in an overcrowded market and building advertising revenue through hatred is a totally valid business plan. It's like making money through trolling.

The only system that 100% deserves to be on there is the virtual boy, and maybe the 32x. His reasoning for the genesis is terrible. The major flaw is the sound quality, for sure, but it did come out 2 years before the SNES, so give it a break. The CDi needs to be on their, and I don't see how the dreamcast is worse than say, the N64. Just less successful.
