I don't really have much of a wish-list -- just some games that I'd eventually like to get around playing. I've been playing down my backlog so that I can avoid getting foggy of things that I'd like to play. That said, GameCube I'm looking to fill out my collection (and shelves) for this wonderful little compact gamebox.

Nintendo GameCube:
Beach Spikers: Virtua Beach Volleyball
Chibi-Robo
Custom Robo
Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem
F-Zero GX
Gauntlet: Dark Legacy
Lost Kingdoms
Lost Kingdoms II
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Skies of Arcadia Legends
Star Wars: Rogue Squadron II: Rogue Leader
Super Mario Strikers
Tales of Symphonia
Viewtiful Joe
Viewtiful Joe 2
XIII

Nintendo Wii:
Super Mario Galaxy 2

Nintendo Wii U:
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze
New Super Mario Bros. U + New Super Luigi U
Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed

Sega Dreamcast:
Official Sega Dreamcast Magazine Vol. 1 - September 1999 [Demo] (Really here to finish off my complete set of Sega Dreamcast Magazines + Demos
Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein

Sony PlayStation 4:
Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy
Horizon Zero Dawn

Xbox One:
Wolfenstein: The New Order
Wolfenstein: The New Colossus

I would prioritize:

Nintendo GameCube:
F-Zero GX
Lost Kingdoms
Lost Kingdoms II
Skies of Arcadia Legends <---I wish this version would get ported to PC at this point (well... Dolphin exists but still).
Tales of Symphonia
Viewtiful Joe

Nintendo Wii U:
Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker

Sony PlayStation 4:
Horizon Zero Dawn
PLAY KING'S FIELD.

I prefer Skies of Arcadia on Dreamcast personally, if you already have that, Blu.

Can't go wrong in either version. Gamecube has some extra content but at the same time cutscenes have been shortened by several seconds in the base game. That is to fit the game on one Gamecube disc. The sound is slightly worse on Gamecube. Visually both are the same, unlike Sonic Adventure. (SA was practically remade on Gamecube new character models and everything in the game is retextured and parts of the city re-modeled..360 version isn't the Dreamcast port but the Gamecube game) Gamecube version is still the same great game.Get whatever version has the best deal. I do slightly favor the DC version myself but I'm a DC fanboy.

Visuals are a bit cleaner on the DC when using a VGA box, but I prefer the lower encounter rate of the Gamecube version.

Legends is the superior version for so many reasons, not the least of which is Piastol. Random encounters occur less frequently, and load considerably faster than the Dreamcast version, with EXP offered per battle is adjusted to compensate. Lots of new sidequests; one of the new sidequests available is Bounty Hunting. Sailor's Guilds offer information about each person on the bounty list as they are unlocked through story progression. After reading about them, they can be found in a constant location to defeat for bounties. The Moon Hamachou (moonfish) subplot! There are all kinds of new Discoveries to find too. I'm sure I'm forgetting plenty of stuff, but the "decreased music quality" is a small price to pay for all the new content of Legends.

Super CV4 rules. Nuff' said.

KOTOR2 is incredible and some of the best and darkest written Star Wars material out there. I like it more than the first game.

Opinions...

1. River City Ransom (NES) <---This game is fun for five minutes. It starts becoming exponentially less fun the longer you play.
3. Super Castlevania IV (SNES) <---Fantastic platformer, love the whip mechanics and crazy mode 7 effects.
Thank you for both of your opinions!

I would definitely say the Number 1 game I am looking is Super Castlevania IV. I have been going through the series chronologically and after I beat Castlevania III, IV has been super high on my list. I also just watched a friend of mine play through it recently and it looks incredibly fun. They improved on so much from the NES trilogy.

Love to hear about Mega Turrican and disappointed about River City Ransom. Mega Turrican is hard to find, so that may take a while and River City Ransom is not super high, so that can wait as well.

But, all of the opinions were great and offered some nice insight into the games on my list!

I'll be the person who takes the opposite view again then, I actually really enjoyed River City Ransom. I did play it in co-op though, for whatever that's worth.

Yep. River City Ransom is pretty directionless, but I find the combat so enjoyable that it really doesn't matter. It's basically an open-world brawler on NES. :) I actually don't like the feel of the GBA conversion, though. Something is just... off with the hit detection or something. It just doesn't feel as "meaty", if that makes any sense.

Anyway, my favorite bit? When you fight the Dragon Twins, and the Double Dragon theme starts playing. Goosebumps, y'all. :D
