I for one don't hate you. I respect you for saying exactly what you believe and not backing down. I think it's great that you don't treat the subject of video games with incessant simple minded pollyannaisms. The only thing I'd like for you to do, is parse your sentences with more commas.Tanooki wrote:Look I get I'm hated here

I wasn't pointing out anyone in particular when I wrote that. I've just read enough comments over time and had enough other people say a few things about the comments that's my conclusion as it's how it comes off. As I said I gave up caring much what others think or it would bother me. That's why at times I'll just write, if you've had enough block me or ban me if it'll make someone happy.
You're right I don't get all rose tinted and crazy over games. Years ago I did, but I don't anymore. I get to the point with such things as I don't care to waste time on fluff anymore. And correct when I believe what I'm saying I stick to it unless something changes as I see it's no longer right. My lack of getting excited over pretty much anything goes far beyond video games. It bugs people I know in person as it takes a lot to set me off and get excited, especially over some inanimate object, as they can't tell if I like it or not unless I say so.
Like if I got a NES Classic Edition hiding under the tree out there I've wanted since it came out (and before) I'd be jacked on the inside, but on the outside I'd not be gushing over it. As a kid I'd be tossing other stuff left and right to go throw it on the TV real quick, but now, I'd wait as I'm not the hyper type. The fact it would get used and a good bit, that would be the proof of it.
Anyway, how we liking Super Mario Run?

I finished the demo stages, all pink and purple coins. Still not something I see myself coming back to over and over, so I am waiting for the Android release.Tanooki wrote:Anyway, how we liking Super Mario Run?

yeah I literally played for like 5 mins and said "yeah, I'd like this when it comes out on Android" and handed the iPhone back to my wife.

Oh that's what you're getting at... haha yeah. Sounds like Nintendo is in Apple's pocket.

I know this is from a couple pages back, but I'm just now skimming through this thread and couldn't not post this.
