Thanks for the tip, hashiriya! Still not very good at this game though. Gotta like pump the button to really get firepower going.

Damn you guys are good. I'm a shmup noob... couldn't get past the second level final boss. Is it totally normal for the genre to have visibility issues? Because I totally did, especially when using a charged attack. I tried all 4 ships, but only liked the blue (first) one. The game looks nice, but its aethetics didnt do much for me. The interesting thing about it was getting into the rhythm of firing normal and charging the strong attack. And before you point out how the difficult is nothing compared to Game X... remember I'm seriously a noob when it comes to this genre.

I would have kept at it if it had a respawn system, or at least the ability to continue after the mid-boss... but I got way too much going on IRL to keep at it right now, and the game was a little too manic to even make good use of save states. I'll try to get a short review for my blog up tonight.

The purple ship has the best charge shot, but I did far better with Shamseel!

Nice to see you here touchofkiel. This isn't an easy game but I never even heard of it until now. It's got a neat Japanese theme to it, reminds me a little bit of MUSHA. I'd like to see your review on it, maybe link it here when it's up?

Review here. I know, it's not much, but I'm still learning the basics of the genre, I think...

I did a little test run on my emulator with Change Air Blade. I know it's too soon to say, and it's a newer release, but it already looks like a good bit of fun.
