^ Again, supply and demand. Although I don't know why as a big rich company they couldn't go for everything and just have a dedicated team to source it all out.

I think it was written somewhere this would be online only for buying stuff, like the stores would take it in, then ship it off to their facility to rehab(ie: sticker up and bag it) and then post to the site.

Mentioned before, Gamestop has been experimenting with this for years. Okay I found the Gamestop Site.

Anyone believe the games will be that good a condition thru a Gamestop online order?! Go to Book Off, they have much better quality control; stringent policy on pristine buybacks.

Everything is STILL "sold out" and "coming soon"!

Ah yes. I remember the days when people were still amused by the Power Glove.

Californians generally only think of themselves, which is why they want a pipeline run from the great lakes to the west coast.

On a more serious note, Book Off looks to only be in New York, California, and Hawaii, mostly California.

Is that the same Book/Hard Off that is in Japan?

Well we do have the "Toilet to Tap" program bleah! :?

Yes BookOff/HardOff Japan and BookOff US is the same franchise with stores in various countries. For some reason no US branch is called HardOff.

All disc based retro games and all DVD/BluRay movies are stored in resealable plastic envelopes. Sooo many games in pristine condition! This store is very successful, hopefully will expand further in the US

why is Saturn always overlooked. the Turbo and Neo i would somehow understand. but the saturn ?

Like this comment, from what I gather corps are all #'s, bottom line that's the only way they prove things because being so large you can not oversee everything so you rely on #'s (computerized logistics).

The selection of retro that's being sold is easy to see that these are the prime contenders, I bet you the #'s clearly show this so it easiest option. TG16, Saturn etc the odd or niche side is very hard to judge and these collectors are most likely a different "sector" where the #'s don't clearly show the margins of profit.

Plus production of those are more sparse, I know many TG16, Saturn, Neo collectors don't really sell their stuff unless it's to buy homes or other big events. You don't spend 100's to go trade right away or sell for half, your all in with those consoles.

But to simplify it some, it's strictly pure and easy profit to answer you question. Personally I think it would be stupid idea for them to dedicate in stores for this, it's just not possible anymore. It's a wolf in sheep clothing tactic, grab and run strategy. Trust and believe, think they really give a crap about your hobby?

Nothing personal, it's just business. (Which is starting to become a BS attitude, y'all agree!)
If you can see the future while remembering the past, you may just have control of the present.
