These aren't bad games, but for these two in particular I'd replace them with Wii Sports and/or Wii Sports Resort on any list of games to go back to. That's the franchise that sold the system, is the series most associate with the Wii, and is a the kind of thing you'd likely go back to with groups for years to come.
I'd also put No More Heroes back on the list ahead of these. It was a major event for the system and is one of its most unique games.

I have it on my list and agree it's an amazing game. One of the best in the series and should be on the list. There are just a lot of criminally overlooked games on the Wii.

(anyone can reply...)
I don't have personal familiarity with No More Heroes or Red Steel series - do others agree, is NMH better...or should they both make the cut?
I don't disagree on Wii Sports or Sports Resort...heck, even Wii Play (I lost hours in cow racing and tanks)...but I don't know that they'll be things we'll go back to in 10 years; despite how influential they were to the systems success. Other opinions?

Loving this thread. I've got a few opinions about this subject
but that should come as no surprise.13. Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn
22. Sonic Colors
25. Lost in Shadow
I really don't think these games belong on the list. Fire Emblem Radiant Dawn is not a very good game. Sonic Colors is nothing special - it did one thing right and that was to simply not suck. But it is an inconsistent and unbalanced game at best. Lost in Shadow is likewise a game that does not suck but there's not really anything special about it.
I'd argue that excluding Wii Sports Resort is a mistake. Metroid Other M, for all the hassle it gets, was a fantastic and very playable game. New Super Mario Wii should be on the list, as well. It is every bit as playable as Wario Land.

You know I don't play RPG's personally - I did trade for Fire Emblem (from our own Prfl Gmr) but couldn't get into it. However, it did get a whole lot of mentions the first 4 pages.
Lost in Shadow has only 2 mentions I think, so it's hanging by a thread.
Sonic Colors also got multiple mentions and some solid praise - perhaps you are spot-on though, maybe folks are comparing it to the other Sonic stuff that was...we'll say sub-par?

My top 3 games for the Wii that will actually hold up in the future are Galaxy 1-2 and Skyward Sword by a long shot.
But for the sake of further ideas, this is my Wii collection as of right now.
And I don't agree with the sentiment that SMG1 shouldn't be included because the sequel has improvements. They're two halves of the same amazing game to me. I feel the same about Fallout 3 and New Vegas.
Also... a secret you never knew...

Lost in Shadow will probably be one that isn't appreciated by a lot of gamers. Since it's a hidden gem and the Wii just ended a lot of gamers are still digging through the library. It's one that more and more will like and it should hold up well in the future, IMO.
Unfortunately, I didn't have it on my list solely because I tried to limit it to 25 games.

Can you talk about these a bit more - I see them time to time - but really no idea how they are or what they are...
Calling
Castle of Shikigami III (I know what this is, just leaving it here to see if anyone else wanted to mention it for further discussion)
Deadly Creatures
Fragile Dreams

I think that Wii Sports, Wii Sport Resort, and Wii Play are all games that will be easily enjoyed in the future. Many of those casual gamers who bought into the fun of those games will look back and remember thats why they had a Wii in the first place. And even the hardcore gamers can't deny they didn't have some fun with these games when they were new. I think they deserve a place on the list.
Also why is no one talking about Wii Music? I mean look at how much fun this game was! Put it on the list!
