And then run them further into the ground with constant sequels and ridiculously over-the-top plots involving bulky white guys committing racist acts against zombies in third world countries?

No, no, I think we're good...
Nah, nuts to that. I want Capcom to buy them out then force them to make lackluster sequels to their games on mobile devices.
If you aren't having a good time, why are you playing?

Persona 5 for iOS/Android/N-Gage.

I just spoke with a friend who works for Index in Tokyo. She is pretty bummed that she may lose her job. Just just returned to work from maternity leave, only to come back to a company that is in the shitter.

Index clearly has valuable properties. It seems to have trouble monetizing them. Quite frankly, I have no objection to well-crafted iOS and Android games. Persona, for example, would probably do well if properly designed for the platform.

So long as it was < $10 I'd buy a SMT/Persona iOS game. They're usually turn-based RPG's anyway; they'd work well with touchscreen devices.

The Fall has been pretty well received. Just because it isn't on PC/consoles doesn't mean it's crap.

Man, I'm not even a fan of Atlus and I find that to be a nightmare scenario.

Though even as someone who doesn't personally care for their games, it always makes me sad to see a niche-catering company go under. Hopefully they'll make a comeback.

I have a hard time believing they can pull it off with out butchering the gameplay. How the hell do you transform a game like that to touch controls when you have to cut features and simplify even with a regular gamepad that has 2 analog sticks and 8+2 buttons? You don't. From what I recall, the trailer seemed to have some cheesy writing. Cheesy writing as in SUPER SERIOUS MODERN WARFIGHTER stuff, not the kind of silly dialogue the first one had.
Even modern handhelds haven't been able to produce a single good FPS game. Do you think for a second a touch pad could achieve what PS Vita hasn't? It will be a game that is "good for iPad" rather than just a game that is good.

Not too sure what to tell you. No reasonable person expects a touch screen to replicate the God-status control schemes of mouse/keyboard or control pad. But from what I've read the game is still fun despite being a little clunky to control. And I don't know why you're criticizing the writing based off of a trailer of all things. That's like reviewing a book by only reading the blurb on the dust jacket.

Anyway... back to Atlus...

What does MS and Madden have to do with each other? :|

Btw, what have they shown from BOF that makes it a bad sequel? I feel like if that game was released on 360 everyone would cream their pants. Why would an RPG be any worse on a touch bad than with a controller?
