best buy in store preorder is only 25. Amazon is free until shipped. Gamestop is the pig at 100$
If you do best buy though id personally do it instore to make sure they still have them. They would be kinda like amazon at this point I would assume and would "ship as close to date as possible" Unless its a preorder in store for pickup

Well could ya take out 25$ a week and set aside? Then youd be right on time
Y'know if it was backwards compatible I very well may have preordered. That way I could sell off or trade in the my PS3 towards a PS4 without losing access To my PS3 games. But, as it stands I'm probably better off waiting a while and wait for more games to be released and announced. I'll have plenty of Wii U, PS3, and 3DS games to play in the meantime.
As many of you have already said. This PS4 release feels really similar to the PS2 release. If you are on the fence about one, I suggest pre-ordering anyways and cancelling or selling it if you decide you don't want it. Buying one during the holiday season release might be difficult.
