Possible idea for a recipient:
Miss Iowa Scholarship Program
I'll post more once I speak with the manager of the scholarship program. As of now, I don't know the full scoop, just throwing out a possible idea.
Rest assured, I'll get all the details and make sure that this would be worth our collective effort before I give it my signature of approval.
2013 Charity Auction: Not too early to start brainstorming!

We'll have a thread in the fall to nominate charities, so keep these in your back pocket for nowLuke wrote:Possible idea for a recipient:

Re: 2013 Charity Auction: Not too early to start brainstormi
So who forgot about this thread (including me)?
Coffee mugs are out for this year. I just ran out of time and I wont have the money. I'll have to focus all my resources on the T-shirts instead. I would definitely like to have the mugs done for the 2014 auction, assuming there will be one.
@fast: Anything to report? I'll understand if you completely forgot about this just like I did.
Figuring out the total cost to get the shirts, and estimating what it'll cost to ship them all out to individual auction winners, I'd definitely like (or possible even need) some help with the funds. I remember a few people in this thread offered to chip in, hopefully this is still the case. In the past auctions, I remember having the option to donate shipping or asking for reimbursement. Of course, to get reimbursed means the money comes out of the money raised for charity, so I'd rather not do that if possible.
If you'd like to and are able to chip into this, let me know. I plan on covering a chunk of the cost myself, and the more people to chip in the less is needed from each person. I don't have final numbers figured out, so for the time being, just let me know if you're able to chip in.
What I'm gonna do is create a new thread with a poll. The poll will have shirt sizes as the options. The instructions will be to vote ONLY if you plan on bidding on a shirt, and obviously pick the size you would bid on. This will let me know how many of what sizes I should get, and what a good total number of shirts to have in the auction is. I plan to post this thread tomorrow.

Hey Ziggy,
How's about a Racketboy tie or lapel pin? RB Cuff links? Embroidered handkerchief?
