Face it Poisons got a meat sword tucked away some where. :|

Capcom!? You mean Ono-san!? Trollboy

He's not the creator, not even that sad US division of a publisher.

A statement declared by either Akira Yasuda himself or or even Akira Nishitani that says she is would be more than enough for me to believe... and not some crazy producer and a publishing arm looking for as much marketing PR as they can get for their poor excuse of a cross over fighter.

THANK YOU

To be fair Poison's tits do look fake, even by game standards in SFXT BUT again she crosses her legs way too easily with no guy parts in the way. Plus those shorts are WAY too short for her to be hiding anything like Ono claimed.

...Again, Poison is the victim of retro-active continuity. She was originally a female, and was retcon'd to be a male to female transsexual.

I hate to be the guy to have to tell you this, but taking female hormones reduces the size and shape of your junk considerably. Poison's fake-ish breasts could be implants regardless of gender, and would suit her... raunchy personality either way.

More like a victim of silly Nintendo Censorship. Nothing more.

Again, even stuff like Double Dragon had female enemies, so I kinda doubt it was a Nintendo thing.

Capcom was probably just being dumb.

They also asked Cap to rename Sodom in the SNES version of Alpha 2
Perhaps it was Capcom's doing as well???

Why are people blaming Nintendo? Didn't they just remove Poison/Roxy from the SNES port of Final Fight anyway, replacing them with obvious dudes with different names? As I remember, this idea of saying Poison is a dude first came about from fear of feminist groups making a fuss when they debuted the arcade game in the US. Nintendo has no say in Capcom's arcade business.

They also removed the female enemies from the American version of Final Fight 2 -- and they were totally different than the 2 in the original. In FF3 they kept them in.

As far as the topic goes, I would have mentioned the Power Instinct series from Atlus, but that's even covered in that undiscovered 2D fighters article. Out of all the Street Fighter clones, that was one of the more interesting ones, eventually making its way to the Neo Geo.

How about the Rumble Fish? DIMPS can do no wrong in my eyes and Rumble Fish was a great fighter from a time Fighters weren't really cool anymore.
