What's your approach to disc-only games?

I've seen very, very little disc rot personally and I own hundreds of discs. In fact, I've only observed it on cheaply-made audio CDs. You should always inspect every and any used disc you're purchasing, of course.

Now, the other kind of disk rot (ie: degradation of floppies) is very much real. They be dropping dead all of the place.
