I am imagining things will pick up next time there is a big Steam sale or Humble Bundle. That's when I'll likely be able to offer something up.

Really wish Steam would allow folks to transfer games they bought but don't want. I have a half dozen I'd throw up.

Apparently steam has been closing groups that are centered around game trading / giveaways, two of the groups I was in have closed.

Yeah, the RB one is really small, so it would be well under the radar.

Is there something in the TOS that prohibits this? I just went and read through it and didn't find anything, unless those groups were doing enough of a tit-for-tat that Valve decided it was compensation.

I don't think this group really has much to worry about. Most of the groups I've seen taken down recently were more geared towards trading/selling games not giveaways.
