The official Racketboy "I Love You Man" thread.

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Just wanna say I love you guys!

Post by loganm187 »

This is hands down the best retro game forum on the web. I don't post a whole lot on forums, but when I do it's mostly here for the past few years. It's just a fantastic very down to earth community overall. Some of these other place that have lots to do with *Nintendo* seem to have a majority of assholes and people who just take everything beyond seriously with collecting and grading their games etc. Kinda takes the fun out of it all (Says the guy with a game room of over 2000 games) Anyway, just want to say keep it up guys! You're all awesome!

Got a box in the mail today - wasn't expecting anything. No outstanding ebay orders and whatnot.

Open it up - a CIB Neo Geo AES game from noise. Totally unexpected. The best man, the best. Thank you dude - really appreciate it.

Noise is quite the nice guy. No surprise that he is also quite the generous guy.

I don't go to the Nintendo-centric boards at all, and I do collect for other systems, too. But I'd still say I'm a Nintendo fan. I LOVE Zelda, Metroid, and Mario games.

But what's funny, is I'm not anal about the condition of games at all. As long as I have a working, store-bought copy, I'm happy. Of course I'd prefer a complete copy, but I'm not gonna pay outrageous prices for it, nor am I gonna pass up a perfectly good copy of a game that I want to play just because it doesn't have artwork.

Got a totally random mystery package in the mail from Hobie-wan a little while back. Hadn't a clue what it was, and thought it was going to be some little joke, like a tiny manual in a box within a box within a box drowned in packing peanuts.

Turns out it was this:

I could've DIED.

I've been on-and-off searching for this forever and never found a good deal. THANK YOU, SANTA. I will never figure a way to adequately repay you. T_______T
