Streets of Rage
I just finished the excellent second game. I knew it wasn't supposed to be as good, but I didn't care. I had the 6-pak laying around and felt like playing some Genesis. It's alright, and actually pretty fun at times. I'm lost at what to do without the super broken special move from 2. Jumps ins feel useless, and half the time it feels like the enemies run up to me and get sucker punches in before I can react. Thankfully jab locks still work. The level 5(?) boss is infuriating me. The two girls that jump around and such? Ugh. I can barely land a hit on them at all. In fact, I usually just use the A button summon thing, die, and repeat.

F-Zero GX
I went back and actually beat a chapter in story mode (after seeing chapter 4 done, I found it wasn't actually that hard on normal). After that it told me chapter 5 unlocked, but I couldn't find it at all. I think I need to go purchase it from an in game shop or something to unlock now, but at the time I was 100% baffled, and haven't bothered to go back so far. The next chapters will probably just tear me up anyway.

Luigi's Mansion 2
I was loving the game, but I got MHTri for 3DS while I was still in the third mansion and I've put it on hold until who knows when.

Mole Mania
One of the puzzles in world 6 has me so stumped! I plan to go back soonish, but man, I can not figure out a way to make it work...

Games off the list: Wild Arms
Games on the list: None.

Another deceptive month. Took one game of the list (Wild Arms) and added none, but I actually start and beat a few games within the month too.

Of the 6 on my list, I solid 2 (UGnG, Scribblenauts), and I plan to beat two over the summer for the Summer Games Challenge (Blaster Master & Bubble Bobble). Nintendo Land is literally just a case of playing some multiplayer whenever I have the chance, meaning that only Aero Porter feels like a real 'given up on for now' type of game to me.

Hopefully next month will see one or two of these taken off, with no new additions again.

Go to a top or bottom corner, with your character's back towards the duo. When they come to jump kick you "Ee-yea!" do a reverse punch/kick. If your timing is right, you'll land a hit every time.

You're going to have to face these ladies more than once, so be prepared.

Blue collared Karnov is still the one that to this day still gives me trouble.

Etrian Odyssey IV is kicking my sorry ass.

I am embarrassed to say that I can't even get past the initial tutorial dungeon area of this game. The FOEs are nasty and my characters are at really low levels. Maybe I'm not supposed to be able to beat them.....

I would like to progress in the game. I like the story/world concept and I love a good first person dungeon crawler a la Eye of the Beholder/Legend of Grimrock.

I hate to resort to gamefaqs but I may have to in this instance.

Yeah. Me and a friend tried to a do a 2 player run for the secret ending, and when I got dropped back to the factory stage he died. Taking on the double bosses was a handful, particularly the fat guys.

Secret ending is a bummer isn't it? I beat SOR with a friend when it was first released, and always thought the regular ending was wayyy better.

Although I have seen it online, and yes it is, I unfortunately never managed to reach it the other time. My friend wasn;t that good tbh, and I'm pretty rusty. The two fat guys in the final level ripped through a good chunk of my final continue, and then the two girls managed to finish me off, righ before the final boss.

You shouldn't die once in the first three levels, and with 1-ups you should be fine going into the factory level.

You should also be able to beat the elevator level without losing a life. Toss 'em off one by one. If in a bind in that level, use your police back up as you can't use it on the top floor.
