I don't want to risk getting viruses/malware now that I finally got a good PC that's up to modern standards. If anyone can point me in the direction of sites that are guaranteed to be safe I'm open to suggestion.
System Shock 1:

Be prepared for some ancient controls.

Only game that's missing from that list is Sam and Max Hit the Road. All excellent adventure games :)

A word of warning regarding System Shock 1: The control scheme is based on that of Ultima Underworld 1 so it doesnt really control like any other FPS game out there, so you should think of it more as an adventure/first person RPG game. It's one of the most complex FPS games there are and it's not very easy to get into. So if you find the thought of completing the game unbearable when you try it out, dont let that stop you from playing System Shock 2, that one plays like any other FPS game out there except that there's more depth to the gameplay and it has RPG elements, even most FPS/System Shock fans dont really bother with SS1. That doesn't mean that SS1 is a bad game though, it's one of the most innovative and revolutionary (3D) games of all time.
My WTB thread (Sega CD/Saturn games)
Also looking to buy: Ys III (TG-16 CD), Shadowrun (Genesis) Hori N64 mini pad and Slayer (3DO) in long box/just the long box

Yeah, I got an email about that recently, but thanks for the friendly reminder. Sooooo awesome! I was happy enough with what I already got, and they actually threw in three more. Sweet! I've never played Cave Story before, and this seems to be the best version so I may have to spend some time with it at some point

I'm still kind of shocked that Shank 2 is part of that bundle, being a popular Xbox Live Arcade title. I don't know if I still consider it indie, but I'm happy they included it. The only thing that could make me happier is if they through in Mark of the Ninja. I played it on the Xbox, but would love an excuse to play it again

Yeah I'm super stoked about Offspring Fling.

Indie just means the game was made by an independant developer. Popularity of said games doesn't factor in to if its indie or not.
