How is this for a good one on no love for the genesis. Went to my older brother's house over the weekend and asked about the genesis system I bought him or christmas. I did a poll in nov on what was the best system to buy him snes,gen,nes. Everyone here said sega so I did that. I found a great deal on craigslist with great games like turtles hyperstone, streets of rage 1 and 2 all the sonics nhl 94 and a few others.
Well back to the story I asked if I can play it and he told me he sold it. Wtf 40.00 for all of it I was so mad on the inside. Well he needed gas for his truck for work but damn I would have bought the system and kept it for myself.

I just adopted a Genesis about a year ago after growing up an SNES kid.

Personally, I am having a blast picking up great titles for chump change on Amazon. I recently purchased Shadow Dancer: Secret of Shinobi for under $10 shipped. Plus it came with the plastic clamshell case even though it was advertised as cart only!

The Genesis does indeed have the best Ninja games. Ninja everywhere. Only the NES gives it a run for its Ninja money.

I think a lot of it has to do with the Nintendo games being more iconic. The general population knows what Mario, and Zelda is a lot more that stuff on the Sega side other than Sonic. While the Genesis has many great games, the general population doesn't really know what they are.

You know I was going to post this getting Teenage Mu Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Hyperstone heist Streets of Rage 2 and 3, shinobi 3, sonic 1 and 2 and 3d blast and death and return of superman. And today just I bought kof 00/01 for ps2 and only game in there was kof01 so I returned it to get mega turrican. What an awesome game. All together I probally spent 40-50 dollars total. Hell turtles in time for snes goes for 40.00 alone these days. I'm so glad I never sold my genesis on craigslist.
