That ending always bothered me... I mean, story-wise the girl is the girlfriend of one of the guys and they are brothers. Then you save the girl, and the OTHER brother decides he likes the girl as well so he fights his own brother, and if he wins the girl actually goes with him? Not nice!

That future is indeed messed up...

In the realm of 80s/90s video game stories and endings that make no sense that, my friend, is pretty mild.....
