Well VGA boxes go for 4 times a DC console. Sega should re-release some VGA boxes.

Simpler thing, I think, would still be for them to try and put out more extensive Dreamcast collections on modern consoles (there's already been a 360/PC one with four games on it).

Folks who want original hardware are rarely content with recreations, and folks who just want the games would be better served by ports to modern systems. Done well, there'd be reasons for existing DC owners to buy the new ports too, just like with (most) of the HD collections of PS2 games.

I saw something similar with a Sega Genesis at Target for 40 bucks, 80 games built in a believe. But it is not emulated perfectly.

I almost bought one until i read the reviews. Atgames Genesis console i pondered picking up one but some of the reviews are mixed on it.

great article, last i checked the revised edition of the book of the same title (taken from Eidolon's Inn) is now up at Amazon, was waiting for more reviews on it to show up.
