Not sure if this is the right section but it looks like Sega All stars racing is getting a sequal late this year. According to the information available The gameplay continues in a similar vein to the previous entry, in which players race against each other using characters from various Sega franchises. The newest addition is the "transformed" aspect of the game in which, during certain parts of each track, the player's vechile will automatically change between a car, a speedboat and a jet, allowing players to race across land sea and air.
A new single player story mode will be implemented, which will be "inspired by games like Mario Galaxy. The game will feature 16 new tracks, as well as four returning locations such as Shibuya Downtown and the Death Egg. 27 different characters are confirmed to exist in all including New characters for the sequel include Gillius from Golden Axe and Vyse from Skies of Arcadia. A Panzer Dragoon themed race track has been confirmed as well.
One Thing I find interesting is that The game's development staff contains members of Bizarre Creations, developer of Blur and the Project Gotham Racing series of racing video games, and of Black Rock Studio, developer of Split Second: Velocity. Been awhile since I have actually looked forward to a Kart racer, if they pull this off plus how good they have been doing with sonic Generations and others like conduit 2 I would say they are going in the right direction.

I'll definitely be picking it up!!
Sevin0seven you getting PS3 version? I was gonna get it for the Xbox 360 like last one but your system isn't working.
The original game was fantastic with classic gameplay and felt refreshing playing a new kart racer.

Definitely. Sounds like it's going to be a blast and an improvement over the already fun as hell original.
