I haven't listened to this album yet. I absolutely love The Crane Wife (which also happens to feature the instrument more), but was underwhelmed with their new one, and have only listened to one other. I'm so not as on top of music as I used to be. I'll get there eventually though!

I love the hammered dulcimer and saved up for years before I finally bought one in 2011. I hope to really commit myself to learning soon.

I miss POG's also i wish i could remember how to play it.

Went and found all my old slammers these things would cause a shutdown at a school if a kid brought them now a days, they weigh a decent amount and could be easily used as a weapon.

^ hahah nice cant believe you still have them. I used to own like 2 binders worth of pogs and a crap load of slammers. And yes im am also a little fuzzy on how to play them.

I think the basic of it is that you stack your pogs and use the slammer to hit the pogs and whatever is not in the stack is yours???
