Maybe it doesn't even necessarily have to do with maturity. It's all relative anyway, but I can understand how some things can be off-putting. I don't find "poop jokes" funny, whereas probably about 80% if not more of the male population would think they are. I can enjoy shows like south park and family guy, but if there's a "poop" or sex joke, depending on the situation, I usually can't find it in me to even crack a smile.
haha "crack" a smile.
...sorry, that probably wasn't even funny.
Definitely not true. My older sisters, all over 30 now, found it absolutely hilarious and still love it. One sister organized a walk-out at her school when her painting of Beavis and Butthead accidentally burning a Christmas tree with a menorah was taken down by the principal.
I meant to mention this in that post but forgot, but I didn't mean that to sound like I was saying that girls can't or don't find stuff like that funny. But it just seems that there's something about the male brain that makes them more capable of appreciating that sort of thing.
My main point was just that it doesn't have so much to do with maturity, just your sense of humor, although that probably does have a lot to do with maturity.

I think it's less of a maturity thing and more of a generational thing. The humor isn't "haha he made a dick joke" at all.

For sure. My wife loves Beavis & Butt-Head, too.
My younger sister actually likes gross-out humor more than I do.

I meant in this thread specifically and was kind of being facetious.
Are you serious right now? You're trying to tell us that you didn't mean that only guys can like the humor on Beavis & Butt-Head by this comment? Back-peddle a little?

Yeah that's seriously what I'm trying to tell you.
It was kind of a joke directed more towards the fact that there seems to be a majority of males on this site (I could be wrong). But am I wrong in making that statement if you take it only for what it truly says and not what you're making it out to be?
Not to mention the fact that you're completely skipping over the post I made saying that I did not mean to make it sound like I'm saying that girls can't find this stuff funny. I really am not a closed-minded person and did not intend to make it sound like I am nor did I mean to make this a big freaking deal involving gender. If you'll go back a majority of what I said had to do with maturity, not gender.
