Why, on my days off do I always wake up at 4am?

It's about 9am now, and I've done two loads of laundry, ironed countless shirts and pants, trimmed my big bush outside (c'mon people, mind out of the gutter) raked the yard, made this weeks menu, went grocery shopping for the week, started dinner (a pot roast in a slow cooker), cleaned up the kitchen, answered business emails, tweeted new promotions, and hanged a new mirror in the powder room.

After I make my football bets, er, picks for the week then take a shower, it'll almost be Miller Time.

Holy crap, you're productive! I surf the net for like an hour while drinking a coffee before I even decide to engage in anything useful.

Call me Radioactive man as I'm up and atom.

Actually, just stick to calling em Luke.

My body is like a light switch, once it's on, it is on. My wife and I joke daily on how long it takes me from getting up to doing something productive as I take 2-3minute showers. It's wake up, shit, shower, shave, check sales forecasts, create sales reports, file invoices and plan n new promotions. I have half the work day done before I even drive to work, which I don't mind as there's not much to watch on morning tv, at least lately.

And now that my wife has gone to to using the snooze button, I've been getting up earlier and showing up to wok like a kiss ass at 7am. Emily and I made a pact that the snooze button was no more, as when I use it she can't get back to sleep and vice versa.

Speaking of alarm clocks, what do you guys wake up to? For me it's either just waking up, or the alarm playing NPR. I've had some kick ass alarm clocks in the past, but these days waking up to "In other news Obama blah blah blah, Libya blah blah, blah".

Anyone ever own one of the older alarm clocks that had a digital rooster crow? God those things sucked.
