Why do some people lose/throw away game manuals?

Anything that is gaming related that doesn't fit well anywhere else

Or, at the very least, trust who you lend stuff to not to lose or damage things.

Yeah, I threw out a lot of my SNES, Nintendo 64 box+manuals back in the day. I was a kid and didn't know any better, plus it seemed to save space.

I never understood why someone would toss a manual for a PS2, Gamecube, X-Box, etc game if they had the box and game though. I let someone borrow my copy of Kingdom Hearts 2, and guess what? They misplaced the manual.

When I was ebaying games I'd usually angle the case so the disc / back insert could be seen and turn the manual around so the condition of it could also be seen. Multi disc games got kind of tricky..
Good tips. I've been trying to just photograph the hell out of my stuff, and I just found out eBay has an image limit. (Dammit!)
