But still his story of the difficulty finding MotoGP sealed amounted to "I looked for it on eBay a lot and then this one time is was on eBay". Like I said, I don't think he's a bad person, more power to him. It just isn't that impressive to me as a collector to just scour eBay for what you want and then buy it.
It would only be impressive to me if he found all those games for like really cheap...
Just throwing shitloads of money at it isn't impressive...
I am in the play the games crowd
It is ridiculous one would shoot for a complete PS2 collection and not play them. A few of the games probably have duplicate opened copies that are played, doubt if he even makes time to play any games. But what of an unknown game in the pile that is not discovered for fear of breaking that seal? Is it more valuable sealed? Meh, an untested game is worthless in my eyes. The real irony is say in twenty years he does decide to bust a seal on a rare game, just to find out its defective. Then trying to find one decades from now.
I think this is kinda dumb. However, 20-30 years down the road he'll probably be one of the only people on the planet to have a complete sealed collection. Then it will be a lot more cool.

I can't believe all the shit this guy is getting in this thread. It's an impressive collection of sealed games. That's it. If you don't care about sealed games, fine, but there's still something impressive about completing a library the size of the PS2 with all sealed titles.

Oftentimes, people will mock and deride other people who do things like collecting the entire PS2 library sealed because really, they're just jealous. I see this sort of thing all the time outside of the internet. Because they know it's something they can probably never have, they mock it to make themselves feel better. Sorta the same thing that fuels fanboyism in the console wars.

Well people are just expressing their opinion. Everyone here isn't drinking hateorade.
I just find it puzzling
This guy does have a lot of money as evident by some of the things he has. Namely Last Hope AES. $600 for a homebrew game is just hilarious.

Probably just has a nice job. I know with the money I make, if I didn't have a family to support and didn't own a house, I'd easily be able to afford this kind of spending.
