Or maybe it's that Legends, Legends 2, and Tron Bonne are really fun, zany games. I still make a point of playing Legends at least once a year. I love the multitude of ways to solve any problem, the almost metroid-esque tunneling, and the story line that, while light hearted, serves as the perfect finale to the Megaman storyline.
Your disliking a game does not equate to everyone disliking the game. Capcom would not have made a point of including a Legends character in the last 3 entries of the 'vs' series if the game did not have a strong legacy.
I know my disliking of a game does not equate to everyone disliking the game. That's why I gave my opinion that the games weren't that good to begin with. Notice that I didn't even say that they were bad. I said that they weren't that good. And I gave my opinion as to why they continue to enjoy such cult following even though they don't appear to me to be great games.
You might genuinely like it, that's fine. Hell, there's people who have a lot of fun with Shaq Fu (please, don't think with this that I'm equating MML to Shaq Fu).
But if you want to talk about people disliking the game, it doesn't appear to have sold well. So, then, there's that.
