why did you originally join racketboy?

I came here to get a Saturn Mod-chip. I became (oddly enough) member number 10 and stayed ever since. Over 5 years now. Christ...

Originally i joined because it was the first place i could actually discuss shmups without someone saying "What like call of duty?"

I stayed because people here arn't annoying grammer nuts, yet know how to use a full stop. Seriously it helps with reading the posts so much after many of the forums i have since tried (and left) turned into, "OMG guize dis g4me is tEh b0mB!"

I originally found the site before the .com days in search of a saturn modchip. I joined the forums [years] later because I felt like sharing how to mod the sega saturn stunner guns with an arcade microswitch, and I wanted the guide to go to a site that "deserved" it.
