I can't believe I'm doing this but I'll be rooting for the Packers tomorrow to beat the Eagles so we can host the Seahawks. Even though we beat the Eagles at home already this season, I don't want to face them in the playoffs. We also lost to the Seahawks earlier this year and we must avenge that defeat
I will be rooting for the Packers as well.

I'm thinking the best thing overall would be for Green Bay to win, then for them to win again so the Bears can face them for the NFC Championship.
This is why. I want to rub it in the faces of my Packer-fan friends at Wisconsin-Platteville.

Yeah that would be insane . Although I think Green Bay would beat us honestly. You a Seahawks fan MrPopo? If you are that was one hell of a game. Everybody was writing off the Seahawks because of their record (myself included) and they beat the world champs. That 67 yard run for a TD by Marshawn Lynch was crazy. Congrats to the Seahawks.
Hell no. I was born and raised in the Chicago suburbs. Da Bears all the way.
Nice to see that you're already in the club of awesome people.

Pfft, even if the Bears and the Packers face eachother in the NFC championship game, the Packers would win. Better QB, better Def, better WRs, and better Offensive line.
Also, was I the only one betting the Seahawks would win? I bet my friend $10 on that game
Pro sports are played solely for entertainment. Teams are created to make money and are put into regions to appeal to certain pockets of the country when it comes time to buy tickets and t shirts and all that crap. Because of this, each division will always have a spot in the playoffs regardless of record so that those teams can milk postseason money out of that fanbase. While it would be possible to do this regardless of the teams division, it would be far more difficult, as it would upset the balance of money distribution in the league.
I just want to separate the cereal from the mouse mask.

Then why did they barely beat the Bears a week ago when the Bears had basically nothing to play for?

They beat the Bears because the Packer's Def was doing good. Only allowed 3 points. Although the offense only scored 10, that's all they needed since the Def was playing good.
Not to mention, INJURES! Really,15 Players on IR, 10 of them on Def yet they're still in the Top 10 Defs. And all their loses were by 7 points or less. Also, Answer me this, why did the bears barely beat the Packers?

Because both teams played as best they could early in the season with fairly full rosters and the Bears were the slightly better team.
Ryan Grant. Leading rushing on the team. It took awhile for the Packers to adjust without him.
Look, you are obviously blinded by fandom, which is fine. I have no horse in this race, but from an outside observer's point of view I think it's pretty clear that Bears have proven more this season than the Packers, and that when both teams have gone up against on another with something on the line the Bears emerged the better team. When nothing was on the line for the Bears, it took the Packers until late in the game to pull out a win.
For what it's worth, I think that the Eagles - the team I hate most in the league - will best the Packers today, so the Pack-Bears match up likely won't even occur. I hope I'm wrong.

If you look at the schedules, you notice the Packers had a harder schedule then the Bears. Plus the fact that the Packers have 15 players on IR, and the Packers haven't been blowout like the Bears have.
Bears schedule:
DET Win

GB Win. (Winning record)
NYG Loss (Winning record)
CAR Win
SEA Lost
WAS Loss
BUF Win
MIN Win
MIA Win
PHI Win (Winning record)

NE Loss (Winning record)
MIN Win
NYJ Win (Winning record)
GB Loss (Winning record)
Packers schedule:
PHI Win (Winning Record)
BUF Win
CHI Loss (Winning record)
DET Win
WAS Loss

MIN Win
NYJ Win (Winning Record)
DAL Win
MIN Win
ATL Loss (Winning record)
SF Win

I admit it, the Bears are a good team. But I wouldn't see them winning the Division if the Packers didn't have all those injures.

But they did have all those injuries. Any "oh teh injuries" excuses always make no sense to me. Part of what makes your team good is the ability to withstand injury, and in that regard the Packers have failed miserably. It's like saying the Cowboys or Colts would have been "so great" this year or that "they are a much better team" if only it weren't for injuries. Bullshit. Injuries are as constitutive a part of a team and its record as coaching.
