Just recently got into the Turbografx-16 for the first time ever. Well, other than Rondo of Blood and I'm really loving the Bonk series. It's so satisfying taking out an enemy by banging your head on them. XD
Anybody have any other recommendations for TG-16 as far as platformers go?
What platformer are you playing now?

Son Son 2 is a very solid platformer, but I'm not sure about an US release.
All three Bonk games are fantastic. My favourite is the second one. The third is available on Hu Card or CD with re-arranged music and new levels.

Playing Super Mario Galaxy 2 right now, and I can't stop smiling, laughing, and in general, having a great time.
I read online that Mario Galaxy 2 is even better than 1. I couldn't believe it, and yet it is true. <3 SMG2

Got new copy of sonic adventure and got past the area I was stuck on (bad disc). Weird playing it in Japanese but definitely more interesting to figure it out rather than being told everything.
Oh and hub world is far more likable now that I know where I am.

Rocket Knight 360. In spite of every bad review i went for it, and its actually really quite good. Sure its not long or complex but its enjoyable and the sort of platformer you play over and over again just for that one moment someone asks for your help on it and you look like a god.

The Sly Collection on PS3
It's an awesome package, especially for the twenty bucks I paid for it(brand new too!). All three games are still awesome, but I definitely think Sly 3 is the most fun, most complete game of the trilogy.
The best thing about this package? The description for one of the trophies hints very strongly that Sly Cooper 3 is NOT the final installment in the series.

Been playing Shinobi for SMS and Revenge Of Shinobi for Genesis...to this day Round 5 with the cars passing by still kicks my ass.

Shantae (GBC): The game is a lot of fun and is very colorful. The dialogue is also pretty entertaining. As much as people call it on of the best looking GBC games of all time, though I won't deny that it is, I find Wario Land 3 to be superior in almost every regard. Don't get me wrong, I'm loving every second of Shantae, but I feel Wario Land 3 is superior as a whole. As characters though, Shantae > Wario
