Diversity is fine. I admire people who are multilingual. However, if I go to another country (and I have before) I don't expect them to print everything in English for me. People should be prepared to adapt to the places they intend to live. They can bring their culture along with them and that's a good thing. But no, I've never been to Canada. Does Venezuela count? I've also been to Mexico twice, and technically to Costa Rica although that was only a stop on the trip to Venezuela.
All three trips were great. I was pretty young during both trips to Mexico (I had family there at the time). I learned to say "mi amigo" playing with some kids down there when I was only four. Pero, mi español es muy malo.
