I love physicality, but I 'm not against emulation either. If/when Shantae Risky's Revenge is no longer purchasable say 20 years from now, I see no problem with emulation, regardless of legality.
And just because something is physical doesn't mean its eternal either. I already have a few Famicom games that have kicked the bucket and and are little more than paperweights. It will take a lifetime, but eventually the cartridges will stop working and like downloadable games, they'll disappear only to be played in some sort of illegal fashion.
