There's DLC for Madness Returns too I just found out. Apparently, it's some new weapon upgrades and outfits with special abilities or so I've heard. I haven't used any of it yet

I just played around with my gamma settings and I'm finding the game to look much nicer than I originally thought.
Made it darker or lighter? I am playing through this right now as well.

Strongly considered grabbing it from KMart as it's on sale for $35 right now.

Darker, it seems to have made a noticeable difference. Makes me feel like starting over lol

I think that's a pretty good price. I mean this isn't a Game of the Year contender, but it's a pretty decent, retro-ish game and you're getting the original game thrown in as well.

Jesus that's some badass DLC. I'm not sure I want to use any of this stuff, there's some game breakers here. The DLC is pretty cheap to buy too

I was picking up a Psychonauts vibe to some of the game's visuals. Well, I just discovered a very OBVIOUS shout out to the game that confirms my suspicions. There's a statue of Raz in the game

I'm a little miffed I didn't get some kind of achievement for finding that though

Nice, I loved Psychonauts. Can you tell where the statue is w/o spoilers?

It's in a secret area in chapter 4. It's through one of those keyholes that you have to shrink to access and there's a memory inside it. You can find a lot of the secrets if you constantly have shrink sense on

Wow, after playing Madness Returns the original Alice game seems like utter shit by comparison. Not exactly what I'd call a timeless classic. I don't remember the game being this bad when I played it years ago. It hasn't aged well

Hmm, I started playing through it the other day and thought it held up well. I didn't get very far before I quit, but it seemed pretty darn playable for a 10 year old game.
