I thought $190 was mentioned somewhere else. Or was that just rumor mill?

I was seriously underwhelmed by Microsoft's showing. There was only one real "surprise" announcement, and it was the slim 360 at the last minute of the show. The rest was just hipsters and family minigames. It was nothing short of a disaster.

Is it just me.. or did MGS look like every other 3D hack-n-slash game ever made?

Yeah, I like the way the mechanic looked, but I'm really wondering how it will control.

That didn't seem to happen with the Gamecube. I think the fun, family friendly games are part of the reason for the Wii's success.

"Worst E3 Press Conference Ever"
It should be easy for Sony and Nintendo to do better. It would take some major buffoonery to do much worse.
I really think that most motion games need some tactile response - force feedback, vibration, or something. How do you know when you have clanged light sabers, etc.
Also, all I could think when watching the Kinect driving games: "How do you accelerate or brake?"

EA conference is in a little while. I'm interested mainly in it for Dead Space 2. The original game wasn't AMAZING or anything, but it was pretty solid and I'd be interested in seeing how a sequel improves it.

Yeah that's why the N64 and Gamecube were number one in sales while they were out.
oh wait...

does any body know if you can also use objects while using Kinect? like a handle or sterring wheel. It seem a litle awkward just using your hands to hold a sword.
