I haven't played this yet, but I have to say, all the games and apps available on the iPhone are the only reason I kept my 3G, and haven't gone only to Android. It's a shame that Android doesn't get more developers and games like this.

Here are a few recommendations of a few iphone games I've played thus far:

Dungeon Hunter - A really solid Diablo knock off. The game has tons of loot and the characters are pretty fleshed out with quite a skills to develop. I haven't completed a play through of the whole game yet, so I can't really comment on the whole story or anything, but it seems to definitely be a really minor component compared to the game play.

Sword and Poker - Combines poker with some light RPG elements. The game involves you advancing through floors of a dungeon by fighting poker duels with different enemies. You try to get the best hand to deal the most points to your opponent. You can get different weapons which chance the damage dealt by different hands and provide certain effects such as paralysis to specific hands. You can also get shields which provide a damage buffer and block certain status effects. I think the most major aspect of the game is the magic abilities you can equip which can really drastically alter the way a battle turns out. Its a really simple game that creates a pretty addicting experience. Just don't expect much story from this game, because it just really doesn't have one.

I've been playing MapleStory Thief Edition lately. It's pretty good.

I like Monster Dash too but I really suck at it.

Frogotto would be a nice little platformer if the controls were on point.

I totally love Swords and Poker II. I'm at the end of it and have really enjoyed it.
