She sure did! She's going to finish up Resonance of Fate first, but the first night we had it, she played through three chapters and declared it would be the title she goes for next. When comparing it to other titles, she said the tutorial level for Valkyria Chronicles really made her want to play the game, as opposed to Last Rebellion.

I'm thinking of buying Oblivion for the PS3. I have the 360 version. How does the PS3 version compare? The 360 one had a weird issue with pop in and inconsistent framerate. I'd like to know what to expect for the PS3 build before I buy.

hehe :D.

VC is like one of the 5 PS3 games I've bought full price. I had seen some videos, loved the graphics, and once I played the demo, the next day I went and bought it.

Honestly I'd say hold off and get the PC version. The modding scene for Oblivion is awesome and really helps to smooth out some of the rough edges.

Ok, so my girlfriend has now beaten Valkyria Chronicles and is on the final battle of her second playthrough. Unfortunately she got understandably a little tired of the game, so she went out and picked up Star Ocean: The Last Hope. She's liking it so far, but she's only been playing for about an hour or so. Is this a solid entry for an RPG-starved girl, or what?

Oh, and she got bored of Resonance of Fate, so I don't believe she ever finished it. Last Rebellion has been gathering dust the entire time...she played the tutorial battle and hated it.
