I never trade in any games to them, I'm sorry but I take to much pride in my games and the work that I do, so I wouldn't sell anyone let alone Gamestop a game I paid 60 bucks for and sell it to them for 10 or what ever price they offer
I've said it before: The stickers are thermal. Heat em up, they peal right off.
Hmm, I didn't know that. How would you heat them up?

If you have a heat gun, that'll work in seconds. A hair dryer on high will work, but it may take a couple of minutes.

The strip of land on the far east, wedged between the Pamlico Sound and the Atlantic Ocean.

More specifically, I live on "Hatteras Island" (the one with the big crook in it).

And yes, all SEVEN communities are unincorporated. So... no mayor or city hall.

We're also designed for the sole purpose of pandering to tourists, so the majority of all the businesses are more for the benefit of tourists.

I hate walking in and seeing a wall of GameStop labels on games, especially since they aren't sold for any less than a game with instruction manual and original dvd insert. Even worse, I hate buying a supposedly "new" game that isn't shrink wrapped and potentially used by employees.

But when the prices are dirt cheap, I'll still put up with them.

that's the thing, I've been scooping up tons of GC and GBA games for under $5 a piece lately. Can't complain.

What kind of evil stickers do you have in your area? I use a hair dryer on low and go slowly. I recommend against a heat gun as most settings will probably melt the window bit in a hurry.

I hate when you buy from gamestop and the game is either scratched or there is no case or no instructions to the damn thing and if you take care of your games you want the game to be complete. I just don't understand why they take games like that and those fkin stickers or labels on the case ugh I hate that soooo much and last thing , they should have NEVER EVER EVER got rid of the retro games and systems. Retro has become so popular now its crazy my kids all they play is the genesis and snes and they have a wii go fig

Supply and demand.

Jesus Christ, it's not fucking rocket science!

For example: There were around 60 million Super Nintendo's sold in it's lifetime. For the sake of dirt simplicity I'm going to say 20mil. for America, 20mil. for Europe and 20mil. for Japan.

Now subtract all the consoles that have broken, been thrown out, damaged and needing repair, scarcity of parts, life expectancy, etc..., etc... I'll then put the current figure of existing SNES consoles in America at 7mil., Europe at 13mil. and Japan around 17-18mil.

Why? Because most Americans are freaking pessimists and braggarts as a whole when it comes to technology and they throw everything out on a regular basis to "Upgrade" their equipment. Europeans tend to be a bit more conservative and evenly paced when it comes to technology so less casualties are suffered, but there are still plenty lost. Then comes Japan, the society obsesses over technology both new and old and actually saw new SNES consoles being manufactured until 2004 when Nintendo ceased manufacturing due to "Having difficulty sourcing parts from various manufacturers." so there are many many more surviving consoles working, salvageable or otherwise left here.

Now factor in repair costs, condition of existing hardware, supply in retail channels, consumer demand and various other factors which leaves you with a suicidal business strategy.

GET. OVER. IT.

If you all would have really wanted retro to stay you should have spoken up when you had the chance in 2006 before the big phase out.

Can you still try to make it happen? YES!

Am I sick of hearing this shit day in and day out? YES!

The stickers are thermal for the image of the bar code, game title, sku number, etc... on the top.

The adhesive itself on the stickers is not thermal in any form whatsoever and using a heat gun will just damage and yellow your case's cover art.
