Torchlight is only $5 for the day!
I paid $10 and thought it was well worth it... everyone needs to pick this game up for $5!

Wow! That is a GREAT deal! Now I wish I would have waited a few days to buy it, as I spent $10 as well.

I took the plunge and joined Steam. I picked up the LucasArts Adventure Pack, Secret of Monkey Island Remix, and the OddWorld pack (anything to support one of my favorite developers even if I have them for the PS1).

I've been holding out on Torchlight after playing the demo. I don't need a good Diablo clone to waste all my time on instead of beating other games. Then those assholes went and priced it at $5. Damn you all to hell!

Not real excited by today's offerings. I've already picked up quite a bit from the sale, though.

If I keep checking these sales daily I'll have no money left by the end of the week.
At least I would be happy.

I picked up killing floor. Still haven't tried it yet. I've got a shit ton of work to do by the new year but i'm looking forward to firing up my pc side and jumping in between that and torchlight.

That isn't why i wanted to respond.

To anyone who hasn't picked up burnout paradise, do yourself a favor and check it out. It is extremely fun. I never liked any kind of racing game at all. Mario Kart was as close as i got. However, this game won me over. You actually drive the entire time. No track selection or anything like that. Every intersection in the city is a different type of race, or demolition derby type of senerio. You have to spin your tires at the stop light to start it up. Plus, there is no 'normal' way to drive it. You have to navigate through the city on the fly. The entire city is open to you to get there as fast as possible. In order to get new cars, you have to find them in the world and run them off the road.

So yeah- pretty exciting. Totally fun. If i had to sum it up, one part mario kart, one part outrun, one part Grid. Adult enough to engage you, arcade enough to hold your interest.

Jade Empire is only $3.75! That's a great deal. Pick it up before they run out of keys like they did with Prey yesterday.

Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor is $7.50

I also picked up Mr. Robot for $2 just because it looks like Solstice and Equinox and had a decent metacritic score. I haven't played it yet though.

I'm debating on getting Silent Hill: Homecoming for $10.
