If I had the money for a PsP 2000 with a borked screen I would be willing to give it a try. I need even more reason to make a vacuum forming table anyways.

Well you can run emulators on a flash cart...

Though I don't think modding a gbplayer in that way is possible.
It'd be easier to mod the systems themselves to output RGB

That system above would be hard to use properly; top heavy, awkward, etc. Better to make the screen integrated to a case with the controls, boards etc.

Why do people call PSP big when DS is bigger?

Only when it's opened up. The footprint is still smaller, expecially on the DS lite. Side by side my PSP dwarfs my DS. Plus it's much heavier and less comfortable to hold in your hands for lengthy periods of time.

Actually ds is heavier and even more awkward when holding it with one hand to use the touch screen with the other

footprint is irrelevant
size = volume not surface are

What the hell are you talking about? Have you even held both consoles in one hand one after the other? The PSP is definitely heavier.

In fact I've just weighed them. The DS lite is 200g the PSP is 252g the OG DS is 240g.

Also, am I the only person who uses both hands when using the touch screen?
