LITERALLY obscene and judging by the amount of videos he put up in such a short timespan, and that doesn't include all the time he spent playing video games, repairing and modding systems, as well as shopping at Japanese Electronic thrift stores. It's so evident that this guy had no life outside gaming. Which is fine if you are single and have no other commitments, but when you have a wife and kid you can't keep living your life as if you were still single. It's incredibly selfish. You can't have it both ways. I knew early on that he was probably an addict and a compulsive spender. I never could understand why somebody would buy multiple units of the same system and multiple copies of games and his justification was "because it looked lonely" or it was "calling to him" or "I just have the cart" It seemed he had more fun buying games then he did playing them. because the more stuff you buy the less time you have to enjoy the stuff you already own. I guess I have a hard time understanding collectors because I see no point in buying game you either already own or are probably never going to play. Having something just for the sake of having it is a concept I don't get because that's money I could put to better use. I guess that's why Im not a collector.

It really makes me wonder if perhaps he was ready for marriage and family. Because when you look at his videos he seems pretty immature. He was living in Japan and probably didn't have many friends since he was a foreigner and no family. So he probably got married because he was lonely. His wife got tired of his obession with his hobby took the kid and ran. Quite frankly I don't blame her but he clearly wasn't ready for such a commitment.

Nice first post. I agree completely.

Well, everything turns to dust, thats any material possesion on the planet.

Video Games are something mankind created as a stepping stone in life, a mark of achivement, and thats pretty much it if you look at it. Of course, nothing wrong with enjoying them, why do you think were all on here, we all have the same common interest.

For me, i wouldnt want to put my possesions before people, because i cant take them when i die, it will just go to someone else. As for a relationship, it would be easier for me to find someone who has the same interest as i do, then we have more common ground to enjoy the same thing than have this barrier of "i dont think he/she understands what i love, so thats something i keep to myself". I think we can all agree to that.

But, even if I find or you guys find someone who has different interest, its just as important that they love you for who you are, for all that you are, that to me is just as if not more important that what i stated above.

If my woman likes knitting and i like my video games, as long as she wants to be by my side, thats all that counts, nothing else really matters.

If his wife really loved him, she would come back and help him out. Its not like hes having an affair with another woman, just video games...

His wife leaving him is the wakeup call he needed. The first step to recovery is realizing you have a problem. People never appreciate what they really have until it's gone. He took his family for granted. Hell, he took everything he had for granted. He lived a life many would kill for. He was living in Tokyo, (so he must have made pretty good money to afford to live there because Tokyo is not a cheap city to live in) He had a beautiful baby boy, and probably a hot wife (Japanese women? all I gotta say is DAMN) and he pissed it all away for for video games. This guy had it good and he fucked up BIGTIME. Just goes to show you just because someone is on the top of the world doesn't mean they will stay there forever.

Man, fuck him. I never liked him to begin with. Just looking at him pisses me off. I also loves when he says "People who says I put this video up to get more subcriptions or doing it to get more popular...and people who think like that seriously needs to seek some HELP". This douchebag seriously says someone needs help and after he makes a video of him crying and bitching about his wife and child and says that he's not going to make more videos....HE MAKES ANOTHER VIDEO of him saying that he's coming back....He's just a dumbass.

It sounds like Luke has been talking with his wife about everything recently and they have agreed to some compromises. It's my guess that they agreed to stay together, as long as Luke spends more time with the family and lessens the time/money spent on games/Youtube. This is probably the best possible outcome. The wife and kid are happy because Luke will be around more to spend time with them and Luke is happy because he can continue to make Youtube videos and play video games. If Luke does a good job with balancing family and games, everything should work out OK.

Well, I'm not going to make any personal judgements on his life or choices but I will say that was the longest and most annoying rant I have heard in a long time. He basically spent the entire 8 minutes covering the same 2 topics "I am ok" and "Screw the trolls". 10 seconds of material just beat to death over and over. Also the way he starts talking under his breath in a different voice while making a smirking face is incredibly annoying.

I can't imagine subscribing to this guys videos.
